Fabric Reinforced
Fabric Reinforced Commercial & Industrial Roofing Systems are designed to be waterproof, lightweight, and durable to protect your flat roof from weather, leaks, and other damage. This seamless, acrylic coating has an embedded flexible fabric to add strength and energy efficiency to the roof of your commercial building.
How we do it
Step 1: After proper cleaning and application of appropriate primer, Spunflex is embedded into the base coat, over the seams, and at penetrations.
Step 2: Fabric is embedded into another layer of base coat then applied in overlapping sheets over the entire roof to form a seamless, monolithic surface.
Membrane Coating
I-57 Roofing offers membrane coating services to enhance the protection of existing membrane roofs. Membrane roofs tend to become weathered and cracked easily, but with an effective application of our Membrane Coating System, you can extend the life of your roof and add energy efficiency to help lower utility expenses.
How we do it
Step 1: Power wash and clean with WAC II roof cleaner.
Step 2: Prime surface with Tack Coat primer.
Step 3: Reinforce seams with Spunflex embedded in Rapid Roof III Base Coat or Equinox Base Coat.
Step 4: Seal entire roof with Rapid Roof III Top Coat or Equinox Top Coat.
Single-Ply Membrane
I-57 Roofing provides effective Single-Ply Membrane Systems to protect your roof from leaks, weather-related damage, and energy inefficiencies. With this system, thermoplastic membrane strips are placed on a flat roof and welded together to create a seamless finish and keep your roof in top condition.
How we do it
Step 1: Securely attach the appropriate board stock.
Step 2: Determine mechanically fastened or fully adhered depending on the roof and location.
Step 3: Apply membrane, overlapping seams in the direction of water run-off.
Step 4: Weld seams by hand or with a robotic welder.
Step 5: Adhere cover tape to the field membrane and drip edge.
SPF System
The Spray Polyurethane Foam, or SPF, System is a waterproofing and insulating protective layer that is applied to an already existing roof. This high-quality barrier prevents leaks and lateral water movement, is easy to repair, and promotes energy efficiency for your commercial property.
How we do it
Step 1: Prepare roof surface to specifications.
Step 2: Apply SPF with a minimum thickness of one inch.
Step 3: Coat foam surface with the appropriate coating.
